5 Lunch Spots In Denver You Need To Try

Here are 5 Lunch spots in Denver that you should add to your “to-do” lists.

DiFranco’s

955 Lincoln St
Ste D

DenverCO 80203

Amazing. Delish. Local. HEAVENLY GOODNESS!!! This one of the best hidden jems in Denver. They have an open kitchen so you can see as your food is made from fresh fresh fresh local ingredients. I have ordered delivery(through doorstep delivery) as well as eating at the restaurant(take out and dine in). Every time it is superb. I love how on each visit I get to try new things because they switch up the menu as the season changes. I HIGHLY  recommend the seasonal ravioli and salad dish. Most recently I tried the Butternut Squash Ravioli Handmade-In House Pasta!!!! How can you go wrong?? You can’t 🙂 Plus the Arugula/Pear/Gorgonzola Salad and the dressing is mesmerizing-they should bottle and sell it-I want some to drizzle one my salads at home (as you will too once you try it).

Slotted Spoon

2730 S Colorado Blvd
DenverCO 80222

Loved going to the Slotted Spoon! We have been trying to get here for a few months now and am glad we finally had the time! First off, the staff…they were excellent. Especially Daniel! He was so nice and friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks Daniel for being so awesome. I had the Tuscan with Chicken Meatballs. The flavor combination was great! Pesto Sauce and tomato sauce together was so yummy! I do wish I would have had beef meatballs though instead. The pasta itself was just a little overcooked but that’s okay! I don’t take away any points this time 😉 My hubby had one of their sandwiches and it bugs me that I cannot remember what it was called, but he scarfed it down in about 5 minutes. So that will tell most people he knows how much he enjoyed it. We also came during their happy hour so it was buy one get one free beers. Yay for that. I really liked the modern decor and over all look of the place. It is very clean. I really do think everyone should give this place a shot and try it out. I am sure glad we did!

Rooster & Moon Coffee Pub

955 Bannock St
Ste 100

DenverCO 80204
Love love love this place. Delicious food, wonderful coffee, and good beer selection (not exactly the widest variety of beer, but I’m pleased they offer Colorado brews). Staff is friendly, and willing to provide good suggestions. It can be a little crowded at times (thus making it difficult to find a place to study/work), but that’s okay… I’m happy it’s gained popularity in the community, meaning it’ll be around for years to come. Heart Rooster and Moon!

Vert Kitchen

704 S Pearl St
DenverCO 80209

I absolutely love everything about Vert Kitchen – from the cozy and chill atmosphere to the primo delicious foodstuffs they are serving here. This past trip, I had the pleasure of eating the pulled pork sandwich accompanied with a fantastic roasted tomato soup. My partner also went with the pulled pork, but decided on the pasta salad – which was also a good choice. To drink I ordered an orange San Palligrino soda, which may be new because I hadn’t seen them there before. In any case, the soda was also quite tasty and made my afternoon that much better! If you are in the area and looking for a great spot for lunch, look no further.

Park Burger

2643 W 32nd Ave
DenverCO 80211

Fantastic Burgers! This was our first visit, so I went with the popular Royale burger.  I was not disappointed! The buns are soft and buttery, and the meat has great flavor.  My partner in crime ordered the Scarpetto, which was also fabulous.  We tried both the sweet potato and their famous parm truffle fries, and both were highly addicting!   They offer many options for building your own burger, including meatless, turkey and bison, along with GF buns. The shakes are also amazing!  We will be back!!

Please hire a writer that knows how to spell and/or has a vocabulary above 5th grade geology, for Christ's sake. "Jems" isn't even a thing, nor an innocent typo. Tighten your review process; how embarrassing for you.

For Christ's sake, relax. Talk about embarrassing oneself. Go back home to New York.

Do you have a stimulating conversation w/your date, friend or whomever while consuming all this food or do you eat it with your cell phone in your ear, shoveling it in as fast as you can? It is called "dining" for a reason.
