These Are The 5 Best Places To Get a Breakfast Burrito In Denver

Who doesn’t love a killer breakfast burrito? In Denver it’s just a way of life. We survive off of these things! Check out these 5 spots that shouldn’t be missed when it comes to breakfast burritos.

La Abeja

508 E Colfax Ave
Denver, CO 80203

La Abeja - Denver, CO, United States. Breakfast burrito, smothered and bottled Coca Cola!

Don’t skip these breakfast burritos.  They will rock your face.  Dive in for breakfast lunch or dinner.  Very authentic place with great items.  Burritos, tacos, tortas, etc.  Se hable English as well, so don’t be scared to have language barriers.  Very nice people running this place and always friendly.

Senor Burritos

12 E 1st Ave
Denver, CO 80203

We got two smothered breakfast burritos with the egg/chorizo. Absolutely delicious! The staff was also very courteous and friendly. We got our take out order in about 5 mins. Definitely going back here!!

The Burrito Company

1290 S Santa Fe Dr
Denver, CO 80223

Not too many other breakfast burritos compare to The Burrito Company. They are handheld, not too big, but still loaded with plenty of killer pork green chili, potatoes, cheese, your choice of breakfast meat and a fried egg instead of the dried scrambled eggs one usually finds in a breakfast burrito. I crave these perfect breakfast burritos and have to limit myself from not stopping by every morning. They are very inexpensive, but the place is cash only. One of the best in Denver, by far.

Santiago’s

5701 Leetsdale Dr
Denver, CO 80224

Santiago's - Englewood, CO, United States. Menu

If you want to try something different check this place out. Amazing! I always get a sausage breakfast burrito smothered in green chili. The green chili is super authentic, and the burritos are huge and not that expensive at all. The service is always fast and friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

Burrito Giant

4501 W 38th Ave
Denver, CO 80212

This is one of those places that you might drive past but if you do, you’ll be sorry! The breakfast burritos are delish. The staff is always friendly and hardworking. Definitely a local business worth supporting. Thanks for being awesome Burrito Giant.

I'd say top 5 is just about impossible to determine in this town. Just one of many awesome burritos not listed here is at Viva Burrito off leetsdale. You get this badass number for under $10

You guys are sleeping on EL DORADO in Golden breakfast burritos. They use hashbrowns instead of regular potatoes and the green Chile is fantastic.(always get extra cheese and chile) the burritos are huge compared to santiagos and only about 3 bucks! Highly recommended you will not be disappointed.

I would say the best breakfast burrito is from the Wienerschnitzel in Aurora off of Havana

I have been to 4 of the 5 places (haven't been to Burrito Giant), and all are good.  But, the smothered breakfast burrito at Las Caras is the best of the best!  They don't promote the breakfast burritos, but they should, because they are unbelievable!!

I must be the only person in Denver who thinks Santiagos is bland and blah.

Depends on location. The newer the store, the further away from the original recipe, believe it or not. Find an older more established location with some of the original employees working them, it's much better.

I will also add that I enjoy Santiagos more for this main reason... I think the reason people feel that they are bland is because they use real garlic or garlic powder in their green chili mix, where most everyone else uses garlic salt. Big, big no no. But of course we live in a society where people put salt on already salted food, and so when they taste something that has less salt in it, the first thing they claim is... it's bland. Just my opinion \U0001f609

They need to add Pitchers Sports Bar to this list for their smothered breakfast burrito! OMLanta.. that thing is so big, two people can share it. Delicious green chile, too.

I like theirs but, too dry and the salsa is crap compared to actual green or red chile
