Northern Lights could be visible in Colorado Monday night

Remember back in June when some Colorado locations were able to see the Northern Lights? Well, it could happen again Monday night! According to the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, the forecast to see the Aurora Borealis appears identical to the forecast for the June 22, 2015 storm.

Aurora activity will be high Monday night. The Northern Lights may be visible around midnight. The solid green line represents areas that could see the Northern Lights. Areas shaded in white and green, however, have the best chance of seeing the lights Monday night.

most folks have never seen northern lights...nor would they know that they were watching them at any one time!..most times you see these lights..they are seen speeded up very fast, to look like a curtain of light rippling like in the wind. Actually they are very slow..almost un noticeable just a odd glow...greenish blue...!..

Dont take my word on that though. The city light might make it tough to see.

It should be visible to the north east around midnight. You might be able to catch it right from your window.
