Colorado native, and anymore, I would have to say Denver is right up there on the list. We have outgrown the infrastucture, traffic is horrible, and too many people. In fact, I had dinner a few weeks ago in the pizza place pictured above in Pueblo, and enjoyed the downtown area and lack of congestion.

I would think Oak Creek would've made that list!

This is total BS. Anyone who grew up in a smaller Colorado town knows the truth. Maybe some who never left Denver think these towns are bad places to live, but I doubt it. Most Colorado natives appreciate the smaller more rural towns. However if f you moved here from the big cities on the coasts you still have a lot to learn.

I don't think this list is for real. we moved from Arvada, great place to so. of Montrose also a great place. Just abut any place in Colorado is a good place to live.

Yeah, it's pretty awful here in Grand Junction with Colorado National Monument and the lame view of the Book Cliffs and Grand Mesa and the crappy mountain biking and the sucky brewpubs and affordable housing and lack of traffic. I guess I should move to Denver.

I'd be salty if my city was on here too.

There's not a single place on the list that I would even consider moving to!

Well if those are bad places then we have it pretty good.

I grew up in Fruita, west of Grand Junction. This is a beautiful part of the state, with the Grand Mesa, Colorado National Monument, and Palisade wine country. Whoever made this list must be a hipster living in Denver.

Montrose #4? Oh my gosh I used to love to go there... so small and relaxing! And the Black Canyon is there?! \U0001f631

I was born and raised in Pueblo, I now live in Texas. It saddens me that my home town is #1 on the list but if my kids were still little I would most definitely not want to raise them there. The drugs, Heroin, Meth, and Crack are out of control and the crime rate has gone up drastically. It is a Beautiful place to live but not the safest.

The three western slope towns are rural and farming communities so of course they aren't going to be the wealthiest towns. My dad lives in Montrose and I enjoy leaving the rat race of Denver area and visiting my dad just to relax at least once a year. I grew up for about 15 years in Grand Junction back in the 70's and 80's and loved it. Not sure what the crime rate is these days but I could easily retire to the western slope and live a more simpler life than here in this gang infested Aurora and over-populated Denver area. A wall should have been put around Colorado a long time ago rather than along Mexico's border. Denver's one of the fastest growing cities in the US which really sucks!

Honestly don't get why Greeley always ends up on these.

Right?? I've lived in Fort Collins, Aurora, and now Greeley and I love Greeley! The people here are so friendly and it's not bogged down with traffic.

Yes, unfortunately Pueblo is that bad. However, it is a small town compared to Denver and Colorado Springs so for Pueblo, it is a high crime city but not any higher than Denver.

every place on that list is still better than any place in LA, New York, Chicago or several other major cities.

Every one on the list are full of conservatives, so it's pretty accurate. Conservatives are three problems in these towns. They should adopt a more liberal agenda and then they may not be on the list.

No I love Denver. We have entertainment. There is something to do everyday. We have concerts, clubs, theaters, plays, comedy clubs, anything you can think of. Not including city parks, and bike trails, and good mom and pop restaurants throughout the city
