I LOVED this place. We never got to spend enough time there, even on Coors employees day!

Until I conquered how to walk through the barrels I was a scared little boy.  Oh, and the big slides were scary too.

I nearly broke an arm getting hurled off the "pancake," but I still kept going back for more. There was all kinds of limb breaking stuff in there... we are so babied now days. \U0001f476

LOVED the Funhouse, best place in the whole park, we spent most of the day there and that was the meet back up point for everyone, the laughing lady made it easy to find from where ever you were in the park

It was our meet up place too. (Probably most people, I guess.)

Rick Nelson I know, it probably was...Too bad they took it out, i think most kids went there for the Fun House. I don't even want to go there anymore, only cause you can ride all the rides without waiting all day at Elitch's

There is video of me as a kid when I first saw this and burst out crying. We were visiting from Texas and later moved to Denver.

I have a story I would like to tell about clowns in denver. Long ago, I used to pick up a little girl at a roller rink and take her home. she always wanted me to drive slowly by a specific house over and over, I did. I thought it was a boy she liked. One day I asked who lives there. She said Blinky the clown. She was just at my house a few minutes ago, and she said she bought Blinkys house. In the garage is his clowns license. she finally got to live where her hero lived. He has passed now. I was so happy for her today. (this was 30 years ago when she was a child. )

Seriously, lol. I was not terrified. I did think the laughing lady was a crazy person. Miss the fireworks at Lakeside and watching at the park across the street. All the bbq's with friends and family.
