He’s an Astrophysicist.  He’s a Writer and an Actor.  He’s the top Science Communicator of our time.  It’s Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and he’s coming to the Paramount Theater to talk about Cosmic Collisions. It’s happening on March 8th at 7:30. Tickets ranged from $50 to $300+ and are available at Ticketmaster.  It looks like the cheaper tickets have already sold, and you’re looking at roughly $200 to get in.

Dr Tyson grew up in The Bronx, and went on to earn his BA in Physics from Harvard and his PhD in Astrophysics from Columbia. In 2006, NASA appointed Tyson to serve on the Advisory Council, which guides NASA through ambitious journeys with limited budgets. Tyson is currently the head of the Hayden Planetarium in New York City. He is also a research associate of the Department of Astrophysics at the American Museum of Natural History.  He is also a cultural icon, appearing in many films, like Ice Age, Batman V. Superman and The Last Sharknado.
