The countdown begins! Cirque du Soleil has officially set up the big top.

“Cirque du Soleil is returning to the Mile High City this summer! The famed nouvelle cirque’s “Kooza” show is a must-see for big-time fans and newcomers alike, as it boasts performances by some of the world’s top acrobats, contortionists, athletes, and more,” says the events page website.

According to 9News, Cirque du Soleil said “Kooza” pays tribute to the traditional circus with “whimsical characters, daring acrobatics, mischievous clowns, lavish costuming, colorful sets, and a powerful live score.”

“Under the watch of a mysterious trickster with electrifying powers, ‘Kooza’ follows the self-discovery adventures of the Innocent, who is magically transported to an exotic yet zany kingdom,” Cirque du Soleil said in a statement.

The show will run from July 5 through August 13, with tickets starting at $54 each, depending on which section you choose to sit in.
