Caught off guard, Ashley Marie Unger and her partner were forced to make a quick retreat to the safety of their home as the territorial female elk bore down on them. Thankfully, the couple and their canine companions were able to escape unharmed, but the incident left them shaken.
The encounter was captured on the couple’s security camera, revealing the elk’s sudden and aggressive advance. The footage shows the couple calmly walking their dogs across their lawn when the elk appears in the middle of the road. Without warning, the elk breaks into a full charge, sending the couple and their dogs scrambling for safety.
