Colorado Family Offers Reward for Return of Beloved Teddy Bear, ‘Jelly Bear’

A family from Colorado is reaching out to the public in hopes of finding their son’s cherished teddy bear, affectionately named Jelly Bear, after it mysteriously disappeared during a weekend trip to Denver.

Jessica Fey and her son, originally from Firestone, were visiting family and spending time at the Montbello Recreation Center when the loss occurred. After leaving the center, the family realized Jelly Bear was missing. They searched their car and retraced their steps but were unable to find the beloved stuffed animal.

Jelly Bear, a well-worn Jellycat brand teddy, has been a constant companion to Fey’s nine-year-old son since he was six months old. The bear, given to him by his grandmother, has provided comfort during difficult times throughout his life.

“Jelly Bear is more than just a toy,” Fey said. “He’s been with my son every step of the way.”

Despite their best efforts, including calls to local establishments and a thorough search, Jelly Bear has not been found. In hopes of speeding up the search, Fey is offering a $200 reward to anyone who can help bring Jelly Bear home. She has also taken to social media, including TikTok and Instagram, asking for assistance and offering updates on the search.

If you have any information regarding Jelly Bear, please contact Jessica Fey through her Instagram page.

This heartfelt plea has drawn attention across social media, with people from the local Denver community and beyond joining in the search. The family remains hopeful that their son’s treasured bear will return. “I told him the whole world is out looking for Jelly Bear,” said Fey.
