Three Arrested After Broomfield Shooting Leads to Pursuit and Arrest

Three suspects are in custody following a shooting and police pursuit in Broomfield on Friday afternoon. According to authorities, the incident began when shots were fired from one vehicle into another near the Northwest Parkway and U.S. 36. One individual sustained a graze wound from a bullet, but fortunately, no other serious injuries were reported.

After the shooting, police launched a search for the suspect vehicle. Officers were able to spot the car a short time later, leading to a pursuit that ended near West 64th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard, where the suspect vehicle crashed into a light pole. With the assistance of nearby law enforcement agencies, police were able to arrest three individuals involved in the incident: two women and one man.

Arvada Police temporarily closed the southbound lanes of Sheridan Boulevard at Ralston Road as a result of the pursuit and crash, but the lanes have since been reopened.

The Broomfield Police Department is continuing its investigation, and further details regarding the circumstances of the shooting and the identities of those involved are expected to be released in the coming days. The incident highlights the coordination between law enforcement agencies in responding to violent crimes and ensuring the safety of the public.
