Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds is recovering after being shot twice following a visit to a strip club in Denver last week. According to a statement from the Broncos, Reynolds sustained minor injuries in the shooting, which occurred around 3 a.m. on October 18. He was treated for gunshot wounds to his left arm and the back of his head.

Denver police arrested two suspects, Luis Mendoza, 35, and Burr Charlesworth, 42, in connection with the incident. Both men are being investigated for attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault. Authorities are still searching for potential additional suspects, and the case remains under investigation.

Reports indicate that Reynolds and another man were followed after leaving Shotgun Willies, a local strip club. The shooting took place along Interstate 25, just south of downtown Denver. Reynolds was not with the team for their October 17 game against the Saints in New Orleans, as he is on injured reserve with a broken finger.

Reynolds is in his ninth NFL season and his first with the Broncos, having signed a two-year, $9 million contract in the offseason. So far, he has played in five games for Denver, recording 12 catches for 183 yards and one touchdown. Before joining the Broncos, Reynolds spent three seasons with the Detroit Lions and also played for the Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Rams.
