Shooter at Large After Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Likely Road Rage Incident

Aurora, CO — A motorcyclist was critically injured in a shooting on Monday morning, which authorities believe was likely tied to a road rage incident. The shooting occurred around 10:20 a.m. at 14219 East Colfax Avenue, just east of Interstate 225.

According to Aurora Police, the victim had stopped in a parking lot when an unknown individual in a black SUV opened fire, leaving the motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries. The shooter fled the scene before officers arrived, and the victim was rushed to the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities suspecting road rage as the motive. Aurora Police urge anyone with information to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or through their website. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
