Colorado Cops Find Unexpected Surprise During Traffic Stop: Hilarious Reactions Caught on Body Cam

In a bizarre turn of events, Colorado police officers stumbled upon an unusual item during a traffic stop: a used dildo. The discovery, captured on body cam footage obtained by TMZ, has sparked plenty of laughs and raised eyebrows. The incident occurred in Montrose, Colorado, during what police described as a “high-risk stop.”

The video shows officers rummaging through a car loaded with mattresses, pillows, and blankets when one officer pulls out the sex toy. His reaction? Priceless. Tossing it aside before picking it back up, the officer waves it around like a magic wand, eliciting laughter from his fellow officers. At one point, the dildo’s suction cup is even stuck to the side of the car.

According to police, the vehicle was reported stolen, and one of the occupants had a warrant for felony motor vehicle theft. Alongside the unexpected item, officers reportedly found drug paraphernalia in the car. The stop took place in the parking lot of a Humdingers convenience store, partially blocking the drive-thru.

The chaos didn’t end there. A separate incident unfolded when Joshua Smith, a driver uninvolved in the stop, pulled up and shouted, “Get out of the way, dheads,” complaining about the blocked drive-thru. Smith escalated matters by parking his car, flipping off the officers, and hurling obscenities like “f you” and “f*** you, b****.” Police promptly issued Smith a citation and fined him $120 for interfering with officers.

TMZ obtained legal documents revealing that Smith has been charged with interference with an officer. Smith, however, told TMZ he believes he was exercising his freedom of speech, accusing the police of retaliation. He claims he’s spent thousands of dollars on legal fees and insists he didn’t do anything wrong beyond telling officers to move their patrol cars.

The Montrose Police Department has yet to comment on the incident, but the video—and the unusual discovery—has already gone viral, showcasing one of the more absurd moments of law enforcement in action.
