This Colorado City is Ranked the Most ‘Livable’ – Do You Agree?

What makes a city truly livable? For many, it’s a balance of affordability, safety, and access to fun activities without excessive congestion. Fortunately, Colorado is home to plenty of cities that fit the bill.

Colorado’s Most Livable City Revealed

According to a study by Go Banking Rates, Lafayette has been named the most livable city in Colorado. The ranking considers key factors like cost of living, low crime rates, quality schools, and overall affordability.

What the Data Says About Lafayette

The study found that Lafayette offers one of the best values for residents, with an average cost of living of $6,380 per month and a median household income of $105,819. Go Banking Rates suggests that Lafayette provides the best balance of affordability and quality of life in the state.

Why Lafayette Stands Out

Lafayette has been gaining recognition in recent years. In 2024, it was ranked as one of the best cities for families in the U.S. It’s also home to some of Colorado’s best food, including Nok’s Donuts, which was recognized for having the best donut in the state—the zingy lemon iced donut.

With its blend of affordability, safety, and quality of life, Lafayette continues to make a name for itself as one of Colorado’s top places to live. Do you agree with the ranking?
