Two Arrested After $4K in Vapes and Alcohol Stolen from Highlands Ranch Gas Station

Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two people early Sunday after they and two others allegedly stole more than $4,000 worth of vapes and alcohol from a Circle K on County Line Road in Highlands Ranch. According to authorities, two men entered the store around midnight, appeared to be browsing, then suddenly grabbed a display rack of nicotine vapes and multiple alcoholic beverages, including 14 Buzzballz. They then fled the store and drove off in a waiting vehicle.

Deputies later located the suspect vehicle in a parking lot on Blakeland Drive, where they spotted two men and two women exiting a nearby business. When deputies approached, the men ran away, while the women stayed behind. Investigators determined the women had been inside the getaway vehicle when the theft occurred, and the stolen items were later recovered from the car.

Authorities also discovered that one of the women was in possession of a stolen handgun from Aurora. While their exact ages were not disclosed, both women were taken into custody and charged with accessory to theft and gun-related offenses. The two male suspects remain at large, and investigators are working to identify and locate them.

The sheriff’s office shared an image of the stolen goods, which included four full vape boxes and over a dozen additional loose vapes. Officials continue to urge anyone with information about the suspects to come forward as the case remains under investigation.
