Aurora Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting; Suspect Still at Large

Aurora police are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a man early Saturday morning in the 2200 block of Lima Street. Authorities say the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m., and the victim later arrived at a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the Aurora Police Department, the victim informed officers that the shooting took place outside and involved someone he personally knew. However, despite this information, no arrests have been made as of Saturday afternoon.

Investigators are actively pursuing leads but have yet to release any details about the suspect. Police stated that suspect information will remain confidential until they can confirm the person’s identity.

Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or submit a tip online. Anonymous tips are welcome.
