Aurora Police Investigating Deadly Shooting of 15-Year-Old Girl

The Aurora Police Department is investigating a tragic shooting early Sunday morning that left a 15-year-old girl dead and two others injured on Hoffman Boulevard. Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 12:30 a.m. at 12600 E. Hoffman Blvd, near Aurora Fire Rescue Station 2. Firefighters returning from a separate call were the first to encounter the victims.

The young girl was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but died shortly after arrival. A 20-year-old woman also sustained serious injuries and is expected to recover. Authorities later discovered that a juvenile male had been grazed by a bullet during the incident.

While the investigation is ongoing, Aurora police believe the shooting was an isolated incident. No arrests have been made, and the suspect’s identity remains unknown. The public is urged to provide any information to the APD via Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. The identity of the deceased 15-year-old will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
