Hooters Bids Farewell to Lone Tree Location, Leaving Just Three Restaurants in Colorado

Hooters is continuing its national downsizing trend, and Colorado is feeling the impact. The popular wing chain has announced the closure of its Lone Tree location, which will officially shut its doors on Sunday, July 13. This marks the second Colorado closure in recent months, following the shutdown of the Colorado Springs Hooters earlier this year.

The Lone Tree restaurant had been operating for a decade, and Hooters Colorado took to social media to confirm the news, emphasizing that this decision was independent of corporate closures. Hooters Colorado, a locally owned franchise group, said in a press release that closing select underperforming locations helps strengthen the performance and profitability of their remaining restaurants.

Staff from the Lone Tree location are being encouraged to transfer to the other three Colorado locations still in operation: Westminster, Loveland, and Parker Road in Denver. Hooters Colorado expressed gratitude to its loyal guests and confidence in the continued success of its remaining locations.

Despite the closures, Hooters fans can still get their fix—just in fewer places across the state.
