Your Ultimate Guide to Cheyenne Frontier Days 2025

The 129th annual Cheyenne Frontier Days gallops into Wyoming July 18–27, 2025, bringing with it 10 days of world-class rodeo action, major music acts, pancake breakfasts, and a celebration of the American West like no other. Nicknamed The Daddy of ‘Em All, this iconic event has drawn crowds since 1897, and this year promises even more thrills.

🎶 Frontier Nights Concerts

Cheyenne Frontier Days always delivers when it comes to live music, and this year is stacked.
Catch Ian Munsick and Travis Tritt on opening night, followed by a powerhouse lineup including Jordan Davis, Bailey Zimmerman, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Cody Johnson, and Megan Moroney. Special guests like Brett Young, Josh Ross, and Priscilla Block round out the star-studded evenings.

At the heart of Frontier Days is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo, with top PRCA competitors competing in:

  • Bull riding

  • Barrel racing

  • Saddle bronc riding

  • Steer wrestling

  • Breakaway roping

  • Bareback riding

  • Team roping

  • Tie-down roping

🥞 Pancake Breakfasts

Start your mornings cowboy-style with free pancakes downtown!

Last year, volunteers flipped more than 100,000 pancakes—expect the same syrupy madness this year!

  • Old Frontier Town: Walk through the past with artisan vendors and a family-friendly petting zoo.

  • Indian Village: Live performances and Native crafts honor Indigenous traditions.

  • Grand Parades: Held downtown at 9 a.m. on July 19, 22, 24, and 26, these feature marching bands and authentic horse-drawn wagons.

  • Carnival Midway: Open daily 10:30 a.m. to midnight—rides, games, and funnel cake galore!

  • Behind the Chutes Tours: Go backstage to see how rodeo magic is made—daily at 9:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.

  • CFD Old West Museum: Open year-round and featuring special exhibits and championship rodeo buckles during CFD.
