Dog Days of Summer: Where to Take Your Pup for an End-of-Season Swim

Includes pool time, vendor booths, and an agility course.

  • Dog Daze at the Bay – Broomfield

Popular annual swim event for social pups and tennis ball lovers.

  • Bow Wow Beach Doggie Day – Federal Heights

Benefits the Riverdale Animal Shelter. Tickets available starting Aug. 16.

  • Doggie Splash and Pet Expo – Highlands Ranch
Westridge Recreation Center, 9650 Foothills Canyon Blvd. | Saturday, Sept. 6, multiple sessions from 8 a.m.–12 p.m.

Bonus Year-Round Swim Spot:
Union Reservoir, 461 County Road 26, Longmont – Features an off-leash dog area on the south side with direct lake access for swimming and running.

These events give dogs a safe space to cool off, socialize, and enjoy the last warm days before the pools close for the season.
