Raise Your Steins: Oktoberfest Events Are Brewing Across Colorado
Grab your lederhosen and get ready — it’s the hoppiest season of the year! Oktoberfest has officially arrived in Colorado, bringing Bavarian traditions, live music, stein-hoisting contests, and of course, plenty of locally brewed beer. While the original celebration runs Sept. 20 through Oct. 5 in Munich, Colorado’s mountain towns and cities are already tapping the kegs with festivals running all month long. From Denver’s historic Larimer Street to the mountain backdrops of Breckenridge and Vail, there’s no shortage of places to raise a glass.

Colorado’s Oktoberfests aren’t just about beer — many feature food vendors, live music, and family-friendly entertainment. Two events, Denver Oktoberfest and Vail Oktoberfest, are even in the running for USA Today’s 10 Best Oktoberfests in the country, with voting open until Sept. 8.
And don’t forget: even if your town’s not on this list, chances are your favorite local brewery is celebrating with its own Oktoberfest specials.
