Macaulay Culkin Coming to Denver for Paramount Theatre Celebration
Denver fans of one of the most beloved holiday films of all time are in for a special treat this December. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Home Alone, the Paramount Theatre will host a screening of the Christmas classic on Dec. 9, followed by a live, moderated conversation with the film’s star, Macaulay Culkin.

Released in 1990, Home Alone became an instant holiday staple, with Culkin—just 10 years old at the time—cementing his place in pop culture history as Kevin McCallister, the quick-witted kid who outsmarts a pair of bumbling burglars after being accidentally left behind during his family’s vacation. Now 45, Culkin will take the stage to share behind-the-scenes stories, personal memories, and insights into what it was like to be part of the iconic film that continues to delight audiences three decades later.
Event organizers say the evening is designed to connect generations of fans—those who grew up quoting Kevin’s one-liners and younger audiences just now discovering the movie’s charm. With its mix of nostalgia, humor, and holiday spirit, the event promises to be a perfect seasonal outing for families and fans alike.
