Every year, local nonprofits, churches, and community groups come together to make sure no one in the Denver metro area goes hungry on Thanksgiving. These organizations are offering free meals, turkeys, and groceries to families facing financial hardship or food insecurity.

Denver Feed A Family

This long-standing community event, honoring Daddy Bruce Randolph, provides 2,500 full Thanksgiving baskets — each including a turkey and trimmings to feed a family of eight. Families can nominate themselves or others for pickup or delivery.
Almost Home Thanksgiving Meal Baskets – Brighton

Denver Rescue Mission – Thanksgiving Banquet-in-a-Box

Families receive a box filled with all the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal for 8–10 people, plus a frozen turkey. Registration is required before noon; after 12 p.m., boxes are distributed first-come, first-served.
