Several indecent exposure incidents reported near Washington Park
Women who live near Denver’s Washington Park are warning others to stay alert after multiple reports of indecent exposure in the neighborhood over the past several weeks. Denver police confirm they are investigating the incidents, but so far, no suspect has been identified or arrested.
One woman who lives in the area said she has been confronted by the same man more than once in recent months. During the second incident, she said the man dropped his pants and yelled at her as she ran away. She described the experience as unsettling and said it has changed how she moves through the neighborhood.
The reports have also made some regular park visitors more cautious, especially people who walk or run alone. Several residents said they now stay more aware of their surroundings, avoid distractions, and keep their guard up even in a neighborhood that usually feels safe and familiar.
Adding to the concern, anonymous flyers have started popping up around the Washington Park area warning residents about someone being referred to as the “Wash Park Flasher.” Police have not confirmed the description circulating on those posters and have not released an official suspect sketch, but neighbors say the growing number of reports has made the situation feel more urgent.
According to Fox31, Denver police said the reported incidents have happened at various times of day, not just late at night, which has increased anxiety for people who frequent the park throughout the week. Investigators are asking anyone who witnesses indecent exposure to call 911 immediately and provide the location and any description details that could help identify the suspect. Victims are also encouraged to file a formal police report so officers can pursue charges if the person responsible is located.
