It has been rumored for a while, but Taco Bell is officially bringing back the Mexican Pizza on May 19th.
In 2020, Taco Bell got rid of the Mexican Pizza, not because people stopped ordering it, but because of the excess packaging for the Pizza. Taco Bell was using nearly 7 Million Pounds of Paperboard a year on Mexican Pizza Boxes. Expect the new Mexican Pizza to come in different packaging.
May 19th is just a rough release date. If you are a Taco Bell Loyalty member, you can get them on March 17th. From May 19th to May 26th, the Mexican Pizza will only be available thru DoorDash. They will give you $2 off your first Mexican pizza if you spend $12, and use the key word: MEXPIZZA. Then, after May 27th, you can get the Mexican Pizza at the counter, or in the drive thru without the ap.
