Although Memorial Day isn’t officially summer, it is the unofficial kick-off to summer activities. So many things in the mile-high city are open for the season. We gathered a list of events and things happening around the city to celebrate Memorial Day and the start of summer!

Come to LoDo on Saturday for a day of live music, including headliners Chris Isaak and Ingrid Andress. Also performing are Augustus, Austin Young Band, Busty & the Bass, Dave Jordan, J & The Causeway’s, Lola Rising, Mary Louise Lee Band, Pimps of Joytime, Pine Leaf Boys, Roger Clyne, and the Peacemakers, The Stone Foxes, and Trevor Michael.
The event is a celebration of music and family-friendly entertainment with funds raised going towards Amp the Cause, which supports local nonprofits.

Come to the Creekside for a three-day Memorial weekend festival this year! There will be live music and delicious food trucks, as well as refreshing bar stands. You can also enjoy fun activities and shop at local vendors! Free for all ages!

These are just some of the festivals in and around Denver. In addition, there are plentiful outdoor activities to be enjoyed and so many indoor shows to take in. No matter what you decide to do this weekend, savor that Colorado weather! Happy Memorial Day!
