For the past 23 Years, Elvis Cinemas have been showing first run movies for a discounted rate in Arvada, Denver, and Littleton…. just not on opening weekends. Movies at the “Dollar Theater” have come to an end. According to a Facebook page, and their website, Elvis Cinemas have closed their doors for good. Times have been tough for theaters all over, but it has been even harder on smaller, independent chains that may not charge as much for tickets and concessions. As of a month ago, they were offering a Large Popcorn for $4, with a Free Refill. When they first opened in 2000, Elvis Cinemas had $3 tickets.
