There’s nothing like preparing for a game with food, fun, friends and drinks!

To help kickoff football season, you have to get in the game! And let’s face it, the way the economy is, sometimes we can’t afford a ticket. Whether you’re watching the game home because of finances or preference, you still deserve to have some delicious eats at the table.

Here are some game day food tips for for the  Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders NFL Kickoff Weekend, made at home or ordered in:

Colorado chili

This hearty and flavorful chili is a classic Colorado dish, and it’s perfect for a cold football game day. You can make your own chili at home, or order it from one of Denver’s many great chili restaurants, such as Wolf’s Head Tavern or Buckhorn Exchange.

Broncos brats

These half-pound bratwursts are made with locally sourced pork and are topped with your choice of toppings, such as sauerkraut, mustard, and onions. You can find Broncos Brats at many of the concession stands at Empower Field at Mile High, or you can order them from a restaurant in Denver, such as Falling Rock Taphouse or Euclid Hall.

Nachos

Nachos are a classic game day food, and they’re especially delicious when topped with all your favorite toppings, such as cheese, meat, beans, and salsa. You can make your own nachos at home, or order them from a restaurant in Denver, such as Lark or Linger.

BBQ

Whether you prefer pulled pork, brisket, or ribs, BBQ is always a crowd-pleaser. You can find great BBQ in Denver at restaurants such as Moe’s BBQ, Smokin’ Yards BBQ, or Mercantile Dining & Provision.

Wings

Wings are another classic game day food, and they’re perfect for dipping in your favorite sauces. You can make your own wings at home, or order them from a restaurant in Denver, such as Wingnuts or Wing Shack.
