Glendale has been known for Strip Clubs, Rugby, and the former home of Celebrity Sports Center for as long as most of us can remember. That’s all about to change. A private group has just raised $70 Million to open up a special entertainment district.
The Glendale Entertainment District, as it is currently known, will feature a new Alamo Draft House, a concert venue, new bars, restaurants, shopping and a Hotel. The Entertainment District is also a common consumption area, which basically means you can walk around with open containers until 4 in the morning. The land designated is just south of the Super Target on Colorado, and runs along the Cherry Creek Trail. They say they will have 2 huge parking garages for plenty of parking, and exclusive Lyft/Uber pickup drop off lanes. Now that financing has been secured, ground breaking will start soon, and they plan to open in 2024.
