The Manitou Incline is getting ready for hikers once again!

The trail will be operating on summer hours and will be open from 6am to 6:30pm.

You can make your reservations HERE

The City of Colorado Springs will operate the trail on a timed release. You can make a reservation up to one month in advance.

Every 30 minutes, up to 65 people can reserve a spot between 6am and 9am, 45 people between 9am and 3:30pm, and 25 people between 3:30pm and 6:30pm

And don’t go trying to sneak in. You MUST show proof of reservation and parking to an attendant before climbing the 2,768 steps.

If you’ve never experienced the Manitou Incline before, be prepared for almost 2,000 feet in elevation gain in less than a mile! Once at the top, hikers can go an extra 4 miles down at the Barr Trail. Downhill use of the Incline is strongly discouraged.

And don’t forget to leave the pooches at home, as dogs are not allowed on the trail.
