In the realm of business, success is often measured by financial gains. However, a remarkable Denver-based company, Adventurist Backpack Co., is redefining the meaning of success by seamlessly intertwining profitability with a mission to make a profound difference in the lives of others.

At the helm of this extraordinary venture are Kelly Belknap and Matilda Sandstroem, a dynamic duo driven by a passion for adventure and a deep-seated desire to alleviate hunger.

“Through our partnership with Feeding America, we donate 25 meals for any bag sold,” said Sandstroem to Denver7.

Founded six years ago, Adventurist Backpack Co. has established itself as a purveyor of high-quality, affordable backpacks, catering to the needs of intrepid explorers and everyday commuters alike.

But what truly sets Adventurist Backpack Co. apart is its unwavering commitment to social responsibility. With every backpack sold, the company proudly donates 25 meals to Feeding America, a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to combating hunger. To date, this remarkable initiative has resulted in the provision of over 370,000 meals to families in need.

“Give back Friday is what we’re calling it,” said Belknap. “We wanted to kind of use a high consumption weekend and turn it to a force for good if we could and obviously, with backpacks, it kind of fits in perfectly with our brand.”

Adventurist Backpack Co.‘s story is a testament to the power of business to not only generate profits but also to create positive change.
