Move over, deep dish. There’s a new pizza place in town, and it’s inspired by everyone’s favorite turtles – the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Casey Jones is set to open in the former Giordano’s space on Broadway, and it promises to bring all the action and excitement of TMNT to Denver’s mouths.
Whether you grew up watching heroes in a half-shell cartoon or loved the good and not-so-good movies, this restaurant is sure to please all fans of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello.
Casey Jones will serve $3 New York-style slices made by chef Mat Shumaker, a former executive chef at Famous Original J’s Pizza in New York, founded by Josh Pollack (Rosenberg). So put on your masks and head to Broadway for some delicious ‘za!
