In 1979, Ben and Jerry celebrated lasting one year in business, by slinging free cones for a day. And every year since, with a few exceptions, they’ve given out free cones one day a year. Today is that Day. This year you can taste any of their classic flavors like Cherry Garcia, and Chunky Monkey, or you can try something new, like ButterScotch’d, Chocolate Peanut Butter Chunk, And Churray for Churros, the new Churros flavored Ice Cream.
There is a Ben and Jerry’s at the airport, but the only Scoop Shop in the Denver Area that is participating is at Evans and University. If you’re in the DU area, stop on by and get a frozen treat. Unfortunately, you can’t grab cones for the whole office, but they will let you get back in line if you’d like another. They are open until 8 tonight if you want to bring the kids after work.
