Despite the great changes in the restaurant and diner industries, the level of customer satisfaction remained surprisingly unchanged from 2020 to 2021. In its annual survey, the American Customer Satisfaction Index shows Chick-fil-A taking the top spot for the seventh year in a row, with an 83 out of 100 score. McDonald’s came in last with a score of 70. About 20,000 randomly selected customers were interviewed between April 2020 and March 2021 by the ACSI.
