The start of the workweek in Denver brings more thunderstorms following the storms that hit Sunday night.

Weather Tonight: Storms Ending

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to gradually dissipate Sunday evening. As the rain clears out, clouds will linger, with temperatures dropping to the upper 50s overnight.

Today’s Forecast: Increasing Clouds and Afternoon Storms

Today, clouds will increase throughout the day, leading to a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. The urban corridor, including Denver, is under a marginal risk for severe storms that could produce large hail and damaging wind gusts.

Temperatures are anticipated to be slightly above normal, reaching the mid-80s.

Looking Ahead: Continued Storms and Warmer Weather

Tuesday will start off sunny, with high temperatures climbing to the mid-80s. However, there will be a chance of scattered thunderstorms later in the day.

For the middle of the workweek, warmer and drier conditions are expected. Sunshine will help temperatures rise to the 90s on Wednesday and Thursday. By Friday, another round of afternoon thunderstorms is likely to move in.
