A Littleton restaurant has gone viral for a creative and unexpected twist on sushi—pizza box sushi. When customers open the box, they’re greeted with about 40 pieces of sushi instead of the traditional pizza slices. This unique offering has captured attention and become a sensation at RICE Bistro & Sushi, located on South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton.

RICE Bistro & Sushi has been serving up a variety of dishes for over 12 years, offering everything from specialty rolls to inventive items like crab rangoon mozzarella sticks. While the restaurant has had a loyal following for years, the pizza box sushi is a more recent phenomenon. According to Roberto Leon, the bistro’s manager, the idea started as a fun deal for friends and regulars. The bistro wanted to provide a larger and more affordable sushi option for groups, which led them to start putting the sushi in pizza boxes.

What began as a simple, cost-effective solution soon blew up in popularity. The presentation of sushi in pizza boxes quickly resonated with customers, and the viral dish took off. Now, it’s one of the most talked-about offerings at the bistro, with many people eager to try the unconventional sushi presentation.
