This message was sent to us by a reader that bought some old records and is trying to figure this out. It is a hilarious story check it out below.

About 8-9 years ago I came across an ad on craigslist. A fella in Thornton was selling what looked to be 18 or so milk crates full of vinyl records. He described a bit of what was in the lot, and admitted it had been somewhat cherrypicked already. If I recall correctly, he mentioned it was his his father-in-law’s; a local DJ for hire in the 80’s. I bought the whole lot, it was an all or none deal. I ended up selling or donating at least half of it, which still left me with 700ish albums. Anyway, this evening as I’m cataloging, and ultimately culling, my still obnoxious collection; I came across this (8X10) photo, slid into the album cover of ELO’s Greatest Hits. It’s a long-shot, but stranger things have happened. There’s not much to go on where the bar is concerned, but just maybe someone will recognize one of these faces. Grandma?!?
