Reality Star Honey Boo Boo Appeals for Housing Help Amid Denver Move

Reality TV star Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson has made an urgent plea for housing assistance as she and her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, face challenges finding a new home in Denver, Colorado. The couple, who relocated to Denver last year, are now in a race against time, needing to secure a rental by September 1, 2024.

In a heartfelt TikTok video, which was later reposted by her mother, Mama June (June Elizabeth Stroud), on Instagram, Alana explained the difficulties they’re encountering. “We’ve been searching everywhere for a new place, but Dralin’s student loans and my lack of credit have made it nearly impossible to get approved,” the 18-year-old reality star shared.

Alana expressed growing concern as the deadline looms. “I’m starting to freak out that we don’t have a house to move into by September 1, and it’s already August 20,” she said, calling on her Denver followers for help. The couple’s search has been particularly tough because they need a yard for their dog, though Alana admitted, “At this point, anything counts.”

Fans quickly rallied to offer suggestions and urged Mama June to assist her daughter. One follower commented, “Maybe have your mom or boyfriend’s mom co-sign for a place.” Another suggested, “Mama June, buy a condo in Colorado and let Alana and her man pay the mortgage.”

This housing crisis comes on the heels of ongoing financial struggles within the family. Earlier this year, Alana accused Mama June of mismanaging her reality TV earnings, including money from shows like Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Dancing with the Stars. The tension culminated in a heated confrontation on the WeTV series Mama June: Family Crisis, where June admitted to spending the money on her past drug addiction.

As Alana and Dralin continue their search for a new home, fans hope that the reality star finds the support she needs. Despite the challenges, Alana remains determined to secure a place for her and her boyfriend in their new city.
