Broomfield Police Seek Suspect in Road Rage Shooting Near Flatiron Crossing

Broomfield police are actively searching for a suspect involved in a violent road rage incident that left a driver shot in the neck on eastbound US 36 near Flatiron Crossing mall. The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on March 15, when an unidentified driver in a white sedan allegedly fired multiple rounds into another vehicle, striking the victim and leaving three bullet holes in the car. Fortunately, the victim is expected to make a full recovery.

Authorities are urging witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone who may have seen the suspect’s white sedan driving recklessly in the area between McCaslin Boulevard and Interlocken Loop before the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Trujillo at 720-887-5297 or via email at ntrujillo@broomfield.org.
