Spring isn’t quite here, but the babies at the zoo are.  On January 25th, the zoo welcomed a new Eastern Bongo Calf, which is on the Critically endangered species list.  There are less than 100 Bongos left in the Wild.  Her name is Fiddle.

We’re thrilled to introduce our newest Critically Endangered Eastern bongo calf, Fiddle, who was born on 1/25 to parents Fern & Howard. She is extremely curious, loves running and is fit as a fiddle! Meet Fiddle in this latest Baby Bulletin, presented by @SCLHealth. pic.twitter.com/0xuXQtuJrP

And then, the Zoo brought a new sloth into the world.  This little pup was born January 26.  As of now, there is no name, so look for a baby Sloth naming contest coming soon..  The parent’s names are Charlotte and Elliot.  We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet, but should know by the end of the month.  This Sloth has two siblings, one of which is in Dallas, and the other is still in Denver.  His name is Wookie, and he still hangs out at the Zoo.

As our new sloth baby knows, it’s exhausting being this cute! Luckily, the best place to catch some z’s in snuggled in with mom. ??? As part of Wild at Heart: A Valentine from Denver Zoo to You, you can visit the Zoo & our new baby for $11! Learn more: https://t.co/hNZljZ5mcp pic.twitter.com/6mfXNcHA94
