If you’re a Colorado Avalanche fan looking to attend the Stanley Cup parade and celebration in Denver tomorrow, plan to arrive early and be prepared for road closures.

City of Denver estimates more than 200,000 will be attending the parade. The parade will go from Union Station to Civic Center, and conclude at Civic Center Park, with the Stanley Cup champions wrapping up the celebration on the steps of the Denver City and County Building.

Jill Lis, with the office of special events for Denver says, “Get there early and bring only what you need, it is going to be so crowded. No chairs, no big bags, no coolers or grills. Bring your energy, your Avs gear and water.”
