Driver Flees Scene After Crashing Into Adams County Home
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating after a vehicle slammed into a home in the Sherrelwood neighborhood of Adams County early Sunday morning.
Adams County Fire Rescue responded to the 1200 block of Lipan Drive around 2:15 a.m. for a reported vehicle-into-structure incident. Fire officials said the vehicle went straight through a window, but the home’s overall structure remained intact.
No one was inside the home at the time of the crash, and by the time crews arrived, the occupants of the vehicle had already fled the scene.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene while CSP took over the investigation.
