Wingstop Launching a Wing That Tastes Like 4-20

Wingstop plans to launch a limited-edition chicken wing that it describes as tasting like 4/20.  But, what exactly does that mean?

Well, the wings themselves are flavored with hemp seeds, strawberry, cayenne pepper, and terpenes, which are compounds found in cannabis plants with high concentration. Wingstop’s menu has the chicken wings flavor listed as “Blazed & Glazed”. Described as “sticky, sweet, and herbal” with a two out of five rating for spiciness.

In a press release Wingstop stated, “the new flavor is designed to taste like 4/20 – capturing the herbal notes of the holiday and may even produce a mouth-tingling sensation – although the flavor won’t actually get you high”.

According to the wing franchise, this is the first time it has made a custom flavor specifically for 4/20.  Wingstop said “Blazed & Glazed” was launched in all of its US restaurants on Monday and will be available until Friday.
