A 45-second video  South Carolina is getting tabloid coverage for allegedly capturing a UFO in the sky near Charleston. Shaneika Joyner and her six-year-old daughter India spotted the Goose Creek, South Carolina, last week. They quickly pulled out their phones to record an elongated object moving in front of the clouds as if tumbling out of control.  “Oh my God. There’s something in there,” her daughter, India, is heard saying in the video. “Is it a ship?”

Shaneika told The Sun that she had “absolutely no idea” what the object was but did state, “In my 41 years on this planet, I have never seen anything like it before. I was in awe.”

The video was posted June 30 by Joyner on Facebook and shared July 6 on YouTube by Dogtooth Media, where it has gotten nearly 60,000 views as of Wednesday. It was recorded on Highway 52 in the Goose Creek area, the site reported.

While some people commented like “that’s a damn plastic bag,” it’s crazy to believe it is a UFO. Last month, the Pentagon released a report about UFOs. While there weren’t many details or explanations in it, it did say that there have been 143 instances of unknown flying objects, though the report did not say they were of extraterrestrial origins.
