If you’re planning on parking at the airport in the coming months, get ready for a bit of a detour. A large section of the Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot – we’re talking over 4,500 spots! – will be taking a vacation for renovations starting April 7th.

Don’t panic though, we’ve got all the intel you need to navigate a smooth parking experience.

The good news? The closure is for a major upgrade! The Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot (sections 3 & 4) is getting a much-needed makeover, including fancy new shelter islands, improved drainage (because nobody likes a soggy suitcase!), and a fresh coat of pavement. Plus, they’re making sure everything is accessible according to the Americans with Disabilities Act – that’s a win for everyone!

While sections 3 & 4 are chilling out, the north side of the lot with around 4,500 spots will still be open for business. And fret not, shuttle service will keep running like clockwork to get you to and from your terminal.

Need more options? Don’t worry, Denver International Airport has your back. The Longs Peak Shuttle Lot is joining the party on April 1st, welcoming parkers from 3 am to noon.

Plus, the East Economy, West Economy, East Garage, West Garage, and 61st & Peña lots are all ready to accommodate your chariot.

You can even check real-time parking availability HERE to make sure you snag the perfect spot.

The Pikes Peak revamp is expected to wrap up in September, so by fall, you’ll be cruising into a sparkling new parking area. In the meantime, use this as your chance to become a Denver Airport parking pro – navigate the different lots, snag that early bird spot at Longs Peak, and enjoy the adventure!
