A truck crashed through the back wall of a garage in Jefferson County on Tuesday afternoon, October 27, leaving emergency crews with both structural damage and a damaged gas line to address. No injuries were reported.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Webster Street in the Littleton area. South Metro Fire Rescue responded after the vehicle went through the garage wall and struck the home’s gas meter.
Removing the truck was only part of the work. Xcel Energy crews capped the damaged gas line, while firefighters worked to support and stabilize the garage’s damaged walls and ceiling after the vehicle was removed.

The Colorado State Patrol and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office are investigating what led to the crash. The reports available Tuesday did not identify the cause or say whether the home remained safe to occupy. Read FOX31’s full report for more on the incident.
