Uh Oh! Drivers on Colorado’s Highway 60 Report Getting Hit by Objects

Yikes! Imagine cruising down the highway and suddenly getting smacked by something? That’s exactly what happened to multiple drivers on Highway 60 near Johnstown, Colorado, on Thursday night.

Itzel Gierach and her husband were heading home when a loud bang shattered their windshield. Thankfully, nobody was hurt, but their car definitely took a hit.

“We didn’t see what it was,” said Gierach, “but it completely shattered the window.”

Apparently, Gierach wasn’t alone. After posting about the incident on social media, she discovered other drivers on the same highway reported similar experiences that night.

“Someone else said something almost identical happened to them about an hour earlier,” Gierach said. Spooky!

The Johnstown Police Department is currently investigating these reports. While details are scarce, another driver, Batina (who requested only her first name be used), claims her husband’s car was hit by a grocery bag filled with “rocks and slime” around 7 pm near County Road 13.

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is reportedly looking into Batina’s case as well.

With these investigations ongoing, one thing’s for sure: drivers on Highway 60 should be extra cautious for now. Keep an eye out for anything unusual and be prepared to pull over safely if needed.

We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available. Stay safe out there!
