After six years away from the stage, Denver’s own Manufactured Superstars—the iconic DJ duo consisting of Bradley Roulier and Shawn Sabo—are reuniting for an epic performance at Coloween, Denver’s biggest Halloween event. Known for their high-energy sets, signature space suits, and unique mashups, the Manufactured Superstars were pivotal in shaping the modern EDM scene, both as DJs and as co-founders of Beatport.

Revolutionizing the Music Industry with Beatport

Bradley and Shawn are more than just performers—they’re pioneers. Back in 2004, they co-founded Beatport, a digital platform that completely transformed the music industry by making high-quality, downloadable tracks accessible to DJs around the globe. Before Beatport, DJs had to rely on physical vinyl, but their platform made it easy to purchase and download music from over 130 countries. Beatport allowed aspiring DJs and professionals alike to access music digitally, fueling the rise of the global EDM movement.

Their contributions to electronic music didn’t stop there. As Manufactured Superstars, they were known for their fun, party-centric performances, whether it was playing on the main stages of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) or remixing hit tracks from artists like Bruno Mars, David Guetta, and Tiesto.

The Rise of Manufactured Superstars and Iconic Collaborations

From the beginning, Brad and Shawn were promoters and DJs in the Denver music scene, throwing legendary rave parties like Skylab and Rewind. As their reputation grew, so did their opportunities, leading to performances at major festivals and residencies in Las Vegas, New York, and beyond. One of their breakout moments came when they remixed Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are,” which sold more copies than the original in Europe. This remix opened doors to collaborations with top artists like David Guetta, Tiesto, and Cascade.

Their stage persona, complete with orange space suits, added a unique flair to their identity. This playful image was a response to the seriousness of the Berlin techno scene, offering a light-hearted alternative for EDM fans who wanted to have fun while listening to electronic music.

A New Chapter: Return to the Stage at Coloween

Now, after years away from the scene, the Manufactured Superstars are making their return at Coloween on October 26th. This reunion is a huge deal for Colorado’s EDM fans, as Brad and Shawn have been hard at work preparing an entirely new set. Coloween is known for being one of the biggest Halloween parties in the state, complete with a $10,000 costume contest and thousands of party-goers.

Brad and Shawn are no strangers to bringing the party, and with their years of experience and new inspiration from their time in Ibiza and Tulum, they’re ready to take Coloween by storm.

What’s Next for the Superstars?

While this reunion performance is a major milestone, the duo has no plans to stop here. After Coloween, Brad and Shawn hinted at working on new mixes and an EP set to release in early 2024. Fans can expect a blend of their classic sound with fresh, updated beats that reflect their new inspiration.

Besides music, both Brad and Shawn have also been active entrepreneurs. Brad runs Bounce Empire, an indoor amusement park with a DJ setup and stage, and Opopop, a gourmet popcorn brand. Shawn has made his mark in the cannabis industry with Sano Gardens, offering premium vape products and edibles across multiple states.

Don’t Miss Their Performance!

If you’re a fan of EDM or have been following Manufactured Superstars from the beginning, you won’t want to miss their return at Coloween. Be sure to grab your tickets and prepare for a night of incredible music, fun, and entertainment from Denver’s very own electronic music legends.
