Tonight, I’m taking the Chicago Bulls 1st Quarter moneyline against the Denver Nuggets. Here’s why:
With Nikola Jokic out for the last three games, the Nuggets have struggled early, failing to win a 1st quarter in that span. The Denver Nuggets also enter tonight’s contest on zero days rest, playing the second night of a back-to-back after a gritty victory vs the 2nd seed Rockets without Jokic, and that’s been challenging for them, as they’ve only won back-to-back games just once in the past four weeks.
The Bulls, on the other hand, are in better form and come into this game well-rested, having had extra rest after an emphatic 146-115 victory over the Lakers. Confidence will be high, momentum is on their side, and they’ll look to strike early against a fatigued Nuggets team.
While I’m not quite calling for Chicago to win the entire game, there is clearly value in taking them to lead after the first quarter here tonight.
