According to the Farmers Almanac website the winter chill will begin early In January, temperatures will start out mild but will trend cooler by mid to late month. Overall, the month will be stormy, especially along the coast, where an active storm track will bring several inches of precipitation: rain, snow, or sleet.

In the Long Range Forecast for Winter 2021 -2022, the Farmers’ Almanac predicts “freezing temperatures and snow storms.” To put it in the almanac’s terms, Colorado is in the ‘Numb’s the word, just shovelid along’ region. It is predicted that blizzards will occur in the Rockies and on the Northern Plains, and our spring will be more winter like, which will be how it is…every year?
